I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, storms, and illness are just a few of the reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. A 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. For example, if your appointment is at 4:00pm on Wednesday please cancel before 4:00pm on Tuesday. There are fees associated with missed or cancelled appointments and these fees are listed below:
Missed appointment fee: A fee totaling 50% of the cost of service will be levied for missed appointments without cancellation notice 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Illness and Exceptional Circumstances: If there is an emergency situation, there will not be a fee applied to a missed or cancelled appointment. If you are ill, please call me to reschedule your appointment.
There are times where appointments need to be rescheduled on the practitioners’ behalf due to the above listed circumstances as well. Although this does not occur often, I understand that this can be an inconvenience and apologize in advance.
If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless having telephoned me to say you might be late), it will be construed that you are a “no-show”. Your late arrival will require that I end the session at the scheduled time, meaning your session will unfortunately be shorter today. I have reserved this time for you and only you and have other people scheduled after your time.
Depending upon how late you arrive, it will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged for their “missed” appointment. Thank you for honoring my time.
Accounts Receivable Policy
You as a client are ultimately responsible for payment of the treatment. Full payments are due on the date of your appointment.
